2016 Jazz on the Plaza

Each week over the course of the summer months, the Conservancy hosts a series of jazz concerts for the Midtown community. This historic program is made possible in partnership with BXP, Grand Central Partnership, and Saint Peter’s Church. This program is also supported, in part, by public finds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in Partnership with the City Council.

Jazz on the Plaza is presented in two series:

The Spring Series, held during the month of May, features a prominent professional musician leading a band composed of students from college and high school jazz programs.

The Summer Series, running from June through August, showcases professional jazz musicians from around the world.
