Summer Solstice Music Festival with Catbus Collective
On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 4–6 PM, Saint Peter’s Church’s Sunken Plaza at 601 Lexington Avenue came alive with the vibrant sounds of Catbus Collective, a seven-piece jazz-genre-blending ensemble known for fusing Ghibli, anime, and City Pop influences into their unique sound.

University of Michigan Glee Club
On May 16, 2025, the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club, one of the oldest collegiate chorus ensembles in the United States, filled the sanctuary of Saint Peter’s Church with soaring harmony and rich tradition. Presented in partnership with the Arts and Architecture Conservancy, the concert was a celebration of choral excellence and youthful artistry.
Roy Haynes Jazz Memorial and Centennial Celebration
On March 13, 2025—Roy Haynes’ 100th birthday—the Arts and Architecture Conservancy presented a heartfelt Jazz Memorial and Centennial Celebration at Saint Peter’s Church (619 Lexington Ave). The event drew a devoted gathering of friends, family, and fellow musicians to mark a century of influence from one of jazz’s most dynamic drummers.
David Bargeron Jazz Memorial
On Monday, March 3, 2025, the Arts and Architecture Conservancy presented a heartfelt Jazz Memorial for trombonist and tuba legend Dave (David) Bargeron at Saint Peter’s Church. The event drew an intimate gathering of colleagues, friends, and admirers who came together to celebrate his vibrant musical legacy.

Surrounded by the exhibition Afterlife: Bodies, artist Michael Watson sat with Pastor Jared R. Stahler to discuss the current exhibition and evolution of the artist's "burn works."
Claire Daly Jazz Memorial
On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, the beloved baritone saxophonist Claire Daly was honored with a heartfelt Jazz Memorial at Saint Peter’s Church (619 Lexington Ave). More than 275 guests gathered in the sanctuary—another 150 tuned in online—for an evening overflowing with music, stories, and community love.
Johnny Rodriguez Jazz Memorial
On Monday, January 13, 2025, the Arts and Architecture Conservancy presented a heartfelt Jazz Memorial for the legendary percussionist Johnny “Dandy” Rodríguez Jr. at Saint Peter’s Church (619 Lexington Ave). Renowned as one of the most recorded Afro‑Cuban percussionists in salsa and Latin jazz, Johnny’s life and music were celebrated by an intimate gathering of musicians, collaborators, and devoted fans.
Cultural Medallion Dedication
In 2024, working with the Historical Landmarks Preservation Center, two cultural medallions were installed at Saint Peter’s honoring Louise Nevelson and Lella and Massimo Vignelli.
Celebrating Louise Nevelson’s 125th
We celebrated what would have been Louise Nevelson’s 125th birthday at Nevelson Chapel, the only remaining, permanent, fully-intact sculptural environment by the artist.
