EQUINOX: A Musical Journey of Sound, Spirit, and Connection

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025., the Arts and Architecture Conservancy hosted EQUINOX, a 70-minute concert experience that blended choral traditions, participatory sound baths, and guided meditations.

The performance brought together the award-winning vocal chamber ensemble The New Consort—winners of the American Prize in Chamber Music—and Elly Kace, a Brooklyn-based Baroque-pop artist and sound healer known for weaving together vocal artistry with meditative soundscapes.

Audiences experienced music by Bobby McFerrin, David Lang, the Wailin’ Jennys, Thomas Tallis, and more, all interwoven into an immersive program designed to create space for reflection, renewal, and connection. More than a concert, EQUINOX served as an invitation to step away from the noise of daily life and experience music as ritual, healing, and community-building.
