Felix Hell Organ Recital
On Tuesday, February 13, 2025, internationally acclaimed organist Felix Hell returned to Saint Peter’s Church for a deeply personal and virtuosic recital on the newly transformed Klais/Fisk organ—an instrument that helped shape his earliest experiences as a musician.
A native of Germany, Felix began his studies in the United States as a child, and Saint Peter’s became a kind of home during his formative years. This recent performance marked not just a return to the bench, but a return to community—a celebration of artistry, memory, and transformation.
Performing for a warmly receptive audience, Felix delivered a rich and dynamic program that showcased the breadth of his talent and the brilliance of the revitalized instrument. The concert was followed by a lovely reception with hors d’oeuvres, where longtime friends and new admirers alike gathered in fellowship.
Presented by the Arts and Architecture Conservancy, the evening was a beautiful example of how music can bridge time, space, and personal history—reaffirming Saint Peter’s as a sacred home for artistic excellence.
