Grammy Award Winning Artist Jonathan Saraga Plays at Jazz on the Plaza

On August 7, Grammy Award winning trumpeter Jonathan Saraga and his quintet performed as part of Jazz on the Plaza outside Saint Peter’s Church. The lunchtime crowd enjoyed an hour of vibrant, swinging music from one of today’s leading jazz voices. Joined by alto saxophonist Marvin Carter, keyboardist Arcoiris Sandoval, bassist Nick Jozwiak, and drummer Kenneth Salters, Saraga delivered a set that showcased both the group’s tight ensemble work and each musician’s individual artistry through arrangements and original tunes.
