With a special focus on classical form and traditional dances of indigenous peoples, The Conservancy honors the long history of dance and music in building community and preserving cultural heritage.
In the Heart of the Community
The Conservancy’s programming is community-led and community-based. Organizations such as Ballet Folkloric Quetzalcoatl and Mariachi Academy of New York have been able to call our space home as they teach their art forms to a new generation. We anticipate expanding programs following the rebuilding of the lower level.
