Jazz on the Plaza Draws a Packed Crowd With Catherine Russell

On Thursday, July 17, 2025, over 300 people gathered at the sunken plaza outside of Saint Peter’s Church for a remarkable installment of the Jazz on the Plaza series, presented by the Arts and Architecture Conservancy in partnership with the Grand Central Partnership and Boston Properties.

Grammy award winning artist, Catherine Russell, brought her signature mix of swing, soul, and timeless elegance to the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Backed by a stellar band, Russell’s voice lit up the plaza with classics and hidden gems from the Great American Songbook.
