Karl Lorenzen's Art of Sacred Geometry is on view in the Living Room at Saint Peter's Church February 27, 2012 - March 27, 2012. Free and open to the public daily.

Sacred Geometry, the confluence of art, science and spirituality, constitutes a common ground between many of the world's cultures and traditions. its language of number and symbol can be used to express profound ideas about the nature of existence. These watercolors illustrate the traditional craft of creating the alphabet and vocabulary of Sacred Geometry.

This installation is presented by Midtown Arts Common and Saint Peter's Church.

About the artist

Karl Lorenzen teaches classes in Sacred Geometry at the New York Open Center. In 2001 and 2011 he was an Artist-in-Residence at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, N.Y.
